Called to a test by the Freedom League, our heros (Karma, Codec, Tank, the Cricket,) all took to several tests to prove their metal.

First off was a simple Rough and Tumble test. One robot her would-be hero appeared, Karma taking quickly to his as he burst it's robotic head apart with a well aimed gurt of hell-fire, which then slithered inside the robot and began melting it's innards.

Multi-boy/Tank made imcredible use of his Duplication power, making 11 copies of himself and turning the game into a round of solitaire, or so it seemed. He quickly took apart the remaining computers.

The Cricket made effective use of his speed and agility, striking up close but springing back to afar, and Codec made a consciencious objection to fighting robots simply so the Freedom League could see how they acted. He went so far as to grab a robot and zip out of the Wreck Room but it didn't work, and he was faced with a slighty annoyed Captain Thunder.

Once the robots were taken care of, the Duplicating hero hopped into his Power Suit and took the ball, as a game of Keep Away began. He kept the ball from the word go, however much The Cricket tried to stun or disarm him, while Codec and Karma kept each other well away from the ball.

The third test was a series of questions about certain situations, What would you do if a building falling would potentially stop you from ceasing a villians attempts to start a doomsday device, and so on. The questions were interested when Johnny Rocket shot into the room.

"There's a comet going to hit the earth!" he shouted, and Captain Thunder left the heroes to themselves as the freedom league went off to save the earth.

Searching about the Freedom League HQ for a while, they found some information and went to get a cool drink, before the earth's sky turned a virolent red. What was happening? The answer came quickly after the buzzing crackle of a loud speaker system came to life.

"Ablast ye, land lubbers," Captain Kraken began, "I've taken Freedom City as me hostage, and I'll having the world from ye's: surrender now!"

Desperate to save the day, awww, c'mon. You, Andrew and John. Why couldn't you lemme know that you's had already read the adventure? I mean seriously, you nasty jerks.

Ahem. Desperate to save the day, Karma, Codec, the Cricket and Tank decided to use Captain Kraken's ships teleport to enter inside, and sneak about.

Flying/leaping around the outside Cricket and Tank were fine, however Codec was unluckily ambushed by a lacky and taken straight to Captain Kraken, along with Karma who came along most peacibly.

Talking with the pirate revealed little, however much he seemed to be charmed by the electronic's master Codec. Moved to being friendly with him, he wasn't swayed so much that he didn't activate his Ace Card, so to say, that is a small device that was opening the red sphere surrounding the earth and Freedom city - within 30 seconds the world would be in Hard Vacuum.

Thinking quickly the team attacked Captain Kraken but weren't able to disarm him before he pressed the remote's button, and time began ticking. Through a combition of sacrifice (The Cricket), moving the ship (Karma lowering it to ground level, Codec rotating it on it's axis) and sheer power (Tank's powerful blast) the crew were subdued, before they were all at threat of falling 50 ft to their presumable death.

The Cricket, showing his utter belief in good being able to overcome evil, leap over the piratey crustaceans' head, keeping a Stun bomb held to it until such a time as it blew up, taking out the Captain and hurling Cricket off the ship, unconscious, and tumbling to his doom.

However once the crew were all taken, and Captain Kraken was safely under Tank's arm, a buzzer sounded, the red light blinked away and the Wreck Room appeared again.

"Congratulations, heros," said Captain Thunder. "You're successful."

The team was congratulated and had the entire thing explained - from the moment the fake emergency occured up to the time when the fake was revealed for what it was. Cricket was glad to land on the biggest pillow air-matress he'd ever seen, and Tank wasn't surprised when the "crew" he had been holding (all 8 of them) blinked out of veiw and back into veiw as one eyed flying robots, who them gave a short nod and flew off in formation.

The heroes were given ranks and told that they showed promise, and to please, come again.

End of Adventure.
