"Pam and Johnnie's Cottage" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 6 people. It is set in a clearing surrounded by eucalypt forest and dense rainforest, on the edge of a banana plantation. This setting is an ideal getaway for lovers of nature and privacy. View from the verandah The cottage verandah	The peaceful environment nurtures abundant bird-life and native animals. The cottage, which has a beautiful outlook onto the forest, is on Wonga Wildlife Refuge which consists of fourteen hectares of bushland and rainforest gazetted in February 1983 under the National Parks and Wildlife Act (1974). There is a small creek and bush walking is to be encouraged.
The original owners Pam and Johnnie Walker established the cottage and wildlife refuge. They immigrated to Australia in 1966 from the United Kingdom after spending 15 years in Kenya.
