All utilities require minimum 16-bit color. Utilities may require DLL's not usually found, although expected, on your system. If the utility fails to open or work properly then your system does not have the appropriate files. eg: Comdlg32.dll, msvbvm60.dll. Here are the basic files required. Unzip and download to your WINDOWS/SYSTEM folder: MSVBVM60.DLL, COMMDLG.DLL, COMCTL32.DLL, COMCTRL.DLL. REGSVR32.EXE may be required to register the Controls into your Registry (it should (?) already be on your system in the Windows/System folder). To use this, use the RUN command line: regsvr32 C:/Windows/System/MSVBVM60.DLL
If an OCX extension file is required, here are some OCX's for you in each zipfile. Put them in the C:/Windows directory.
COMCTL32.zip
COMDLG32.zip
ctlbar32.zip
MSCOMCTL.zip
RICHTX32.zip
SYSINFO.zip
TABCTL32.zip
All of the following utilities are zipped and are not listed in any particular order. Unzip to a folder of your choice. They are free to use and distribute unless otherwise stated in Help (About) in each program.

The revised Edition has not been uploaded yet: revised 29 September 2004. The revision fixed some errors. Eg: Unloading all forms if the main form was terminated when other forms were still loaded (help form, Picture form etc...), creates a Saves folder if it does not exist when application is initiated, and some typos.
Create databases of file locations from any type of drive. Preview clipart or basic text files before you add to your database. Your files and folders are only accessed for their file size and address location. The preview buttons do not open application-associated programs like Excel or Word or Paint etc...

FgBgColorMixer.zip (size: 5kb) Adjust the colors for text and background formatting. Color numbers are RGB.
rgbSearch.zip (size: 10kb) This program has been designed to show the components of Colors. It shows the three components of RED, GREEN and BLUE in RGB, HEX (HTML), and DECIMAL. Adjust the scrollers to fine tune the color you want. You can also insert your own color numbers to determine the actual color of that number. There is a bonus box that can be used for mock numbers. Type in any 8 digit number to see what color it makes. The results are shown in RGB, HEX (Html) and the Decimal components of Red, Green, and Blue. The Decimal factor has been calculated by a very complex formula. My formula is 100% accurate.
