The guild is designed as a history gathering tool as well as a vehicle to record, unite and promote the crafts people of the sport of archery in Australia.

It is a non political and a non profit promotional arm of Traditional Archery Australia.

Until now the Archery crafts have been neglected by archery organisations and not promoted in an organized and professional manner.

It is the aim of the guild to focus attention on craftspersons both in the sport and publicly.

The Guild register is open to all Archery related crafts, arts, writers and film makers associated with the sport of archery.

If you create any traditional archery related product, join us and help develop communication between crafters Australia wide.

To join our ranks simply apply for membership by completing the membership form.

Your annual fee will include four newsletters, a unique membership sticker and listing on our website.

Not only does the guild recognize you as a member but will promote your craft with sales promotions, meets, demonstrations,
seminars and workshops being conducted by the guild.

After joining you will be sent a history and general information form to enable us to preserve our craft history for future generations.

Our sponsored shoots will feature guild displays, markets and demonstrations.

Information on various skills could be provided by local guild members.

These are but a few things that will lift the profile of these ancient skills and ensure their survival into the future.

The guild will assist with communication and support where it can through the newsletter, website and sponsored shoots.

The potential to carry the guild skills and crafts into workshops, galleries, market places and other groups is there.
