The last 5 months of 1992 would have to be the most intense months of weather I have experienced in Adelaide. Dominated by heavy rainfall in each month, major flooding wreaked havoc across the Adelaide Hills, Metropolitan area, and the Mid North. During September Adelaide recorded it's highest ever monthly rainfall for that month of 151.4mm.
By the end of the year Adelaide also broke it's yearly rainfall record, recording a total of 883.4mm.
