The Practice - Bobby Donnell

Personal Profile: Bobby Donnell
From the old The Practice Web Site

Bobby Donnell is the mainstay of The Practice. The name on the door is 'Robert G. Donnell -- Attorney at Law'. Everybody works for him, at least technically, and they look to him for whatever leadership they need to keep going.

As a trial lawyer, Bobby is as good as they get. He can match cold and cunning wits with the best of the litigators in the big firms across the street.

Bobby is also fiercely independent -- he could never fit into the stuffy regimen of one of those firms. He comes from a working-class background, grew up on the streets, even worked his way through college and law school.

Bobby's ideals also interfere with an easy road to success. He has never sold out to take the kind of cases that could pay the rent in the glass skyscrapers where the big firms live. He is driven to search for shreds of justice in even the smallest of cases.

Because he is a fighter, Bobby rises to all of the challenges, but the challenges take their toll. There is a sadness in Bobby... a sense of loss. Bobby has to make sacrifices, and often times it's himself.
