TARALEE ORCHARDS

 

 

Terry and Roz Gribble own TaraLee Orchards and we are situated in Mildura, which is in the North West of Victoria, also known as the Sunraysia district.

 

Mildura’s climate is nearly identical to that of California so it is ideal for growing the same varieties, which are fast becoming the most sought after walnuts due to their colour and taste.

 

We have been growing Californian varieties of walnuts now for 8 years, our varieties include:

 

                        CHICO

                        VINA

                        SERR

                        CHANDLER.

 

The kernel is golden in colour and the taste sweet, unlike the European varieties that tend to be dark in colour and bitter to taste.

 

We harvest late April early May and the walnuts are ready for sale towards the end of May.
