They came to understand that life thus necessitates three kinds of activity, and one of it
is to continue its survival it was important to reproduce. The forms of activity generally
connected with sexuality. This necessitated the need to establish a behavior that allows

Thus came about the birth of Tantra and Kama Sutra. The sages channeled this knowledge
from the universal knowledge or Aathi Para Sakthi or Lord Shiva or God whatever one
prefers to call the Universal Creative Force as.
This knowledge was written in verse form (sutra) which was meant to be memorized with
explanation give by the Guru.
Tantra is a way of life, and Kama Shastra was a supplementary science to the Tantrik
tradition, it formed part of the traditional teaching to be studied by children and
adolescents.
In the old days one prepares oneself to be married, thus being able to have a harmonious
and spiritual home.
In the western world and in some parts of India, the coming of Christian Religion has

Men lovemaking is limited to the period he could hold his erection, which with most men is
limited. Not realizing the limitation both man and women resort to adultery seeking for
the unknown pleasure known as orgasm.
Adultery might cause unhappiness, yet, equally, unhappiness might permit adultery.
Adulterous love was and is fatal - but only when it is repressed. Love and sex is sometime
amoral, something that transcends ethics and has its own justification
Religion and Dharma was not based upon communion with God. It was rather a form of public
conduct, a set of rites, a code of offerings and sacrifices, this was what constituted
merit.
Life itself is a long series of births and rebirths, and whether under Buddhism or
Hinduism, the ultimate goal was release from living through integration with god/goddess.
This is a long process; each life brought an individual nearer to or further from the
goal. What you do in one life, effected where you started in the next. By living
correctly, observing the proper rites you gained a better life in the next birth. Thus one
moves gradually towards returning to ULTIMATE RELEASE from birth and death. At Tantric
