It's A Boy !

Budgie needed a friend so along came a baby cockatiel. It was nameless for ages until I decided it was a girl and called her Pippa. Now it is definitely a male so he had to have a name change. He is now called Pip-Pa.

Pip-Pa is much more tame than Budgie and likes to sit on my shoulder and chew on my earring. His flying is not too good and he is still crashing into things but he is an excellent talker and easily learnt to say "Hello Budgie" and then "Pip-Pa, Pip-Pa, Pip-Pa, Pip-Pa". When I tried to teach him his next phrase, he became totally silent so he was a two-phrase-bird for a while.
