Where do you start on a review with a kite like this one? Kyle had let me use his new love in the 10m size when we were at Aldinga Beach as it was a little too light for him.
As soon as I hit the water I was lit, the wind was about 14 knots but the 10 had heaps of pull for me (rider weight 68kg).
The bar pressure is light but provides this beautiful springy feel which provides feedback and acceleration which makes for a nice ride this kite until dark comfort. The turning speed is fast as, the kite responds fast, and is ready for every command.
The most striking thing about this kite is without question the jump, lift and flight. If you put it high for a jump that is what you are going to do. If you come off a wave and have it in jump position, look out, you are going up! Then bring it back ready for the next ramp, but with a feeling of casual ease.
As the wind increased so did the jumps, man how high can this kite take you?
You will feel that you went high and stayed there, small tricks you nearly don't have to pull the kite back, just hit the chop pull the kite back a fraction and lift into it. This kite is all about performance, jumping and power, it is the competition kite as suggested by Naish without question, not for beginners due to the lift that they are not ready for.

The kite seems to have more power than expected for a 10 and super depower. This almost changes the mindset of kite size as I feel like this 10m would suit me for my larger kite, the 12 without doubt would be a large as I would need, perhaps 14m for the bigger riders in our spots.

Octopus single point inflation makes rigging fast and it has a 5th line system.
