South Barwon Athletic Club Inc. (SBAC) was formed in 1963, and through its history has produced many outstanding senior and junior athletes. Many SBAC athletes have successfully competed at State and or National level while some have even gone on to represent Australia in the Commonwealth or Olympic games.

The club has steadily developed to be one of the strongest Little Athletics clubs in the Geelong Centre, having an average membership of 140 athletes competing each season.
