South Barwon Athletic Club Inc. (SBAC) was formed in 1963, and through its history has produced many outstanding senior and junior athletes. Many SBAC athletes have successfully competed at State and or National level while some have even gone on to represent Australia in the Commonwealth or Olympic games.

The club has steadily developed to be one of the strongest Little Athletics clubs in the Geelong Centre, having an average membership of 140 athletes competing each season.

The Geelong LAC Cross Country season continues on Sunday 10th May at Eastern Gardens, Geelong. Registration from 10:30 ($3 for registered athletes), walk the course 11:00, first race 11:15. Events include:
     U7/8, 1000m
     U9/10, 1500m
     U11/12, 2000m
     U13/14/15, 3000m

South Barwon is the duty club this weekend so any parents of South Barwon participants should be prepared to help out.
