*Abilities:*	-Originally a powerful multi-element magic wielder like his brother and father, Kas gave up his ability to use varying magics to gain mastership over a single element known to be chaotic and virtually uncontrollable by reasonable means. -Once able to summon elemental ‘ghosts’ called "Elemir" (huge, powerful, element-based beasts usually in the form of Mythical/Zodiacal creatures from Earth Lore (it is said the origin of Earths mythical creatures are actually the Elemir). He can now only summon a single Elemir of unimaginable power. -Has some latent metamorphosing ability. -Excellent with paired weapons i.e. Sai, butterfly knives, twin spears etc. Favours a set of magic-infused double rapiers created by Miraela's brother, Brevar.

*Appearance:*	-Tall, agile, muscular and graceful with broad shoulders and long limbs, Kayethos is strong from years of training with his father. Like his twin, Kas is considered one of the better looking of his usually fair people. Beautiful and somewhat effeminate in the face, he likes to play up his beauty with makeup and jewellery. He was originally mistaken for and taunted as female when first among humans, though no man who knows him now would dare make that mistake again. -Usually wears his hair loose with a middle part with loose bangs over the sides of his face. For special occasions and important events he usually wears it in a high ponytail or intricate up style. On Earth his hair is worn in a low, loose ponytail styled to discreetly hide his ears along with his hat. -On Dirthia wears elaborate robes and decorative oriental styled clothing, lots of silver jewellery (a rare and much prized metal on Dirthia) and emeralds. Loves to wear the colour green. -On 18th century Earth (1730's), prefers to wear a loose white, long sleeve shirt with ruff and cravat made from finest silks, dark green breeches with white leggings and black leather shoes with large buckles. A dark green buttoned waistcoat to the thighs opened towards the bottom of the garment with silver thread decorations. Dark green, knee length coat (gilet) with similar decorations around buttons and wide folded cuffs made from velvet. Ersenon (rapier sword) carried at his belt side. Wears a hat to cover ears.
*Personality:*	From a very young age, Kayethos has always been the quiet one out of himself and his twin. As a child many saw him as the antithesis to the outgoing, sociable Kyathane, observant and aloof, happy to keep to his own devices as long as his beloved brother was somewhere nearby. All that changed after a violent encounter with Human 'Magia Traders' (groups of merchants who sell or trade Magia, Spells and, by means of abduction, blackmail and brutality, magically gifted individuals to be used as weapons in the various wars that constantly occur on Dirthia). Captured in the equivalent of their late teens, Kyathane and Kayethos were sold as magical weapons to a Human/Sünrir contingent in the 3rd Sünrir War. Used to power machines of massive destructive power against their own people, the twins spent 16 years as slaves to the War, surviving much longer than any other 'living weapon' within the machines due to their inexhaustible Magia inherited from their Dirimeth (Lasuen) mother. Subjected to constant agony from the machines and humiliation from their captors, their minds and bodies put under barely tolerable strain, the youths retreated into their minds, their psychic bond allowing them to take comfort in each others mental presence, until the fateful day their power was noticed by the Human Shadow-Mage, Naslenar Linden. Sensing their great Magia potential, Naslenar chose one of the twins in a bid to further an ambitious plan. Attuned to Eraia (shadow) Magia, Naslenar chose Kayethos, sensing in him a stronger affinity to the shadow element than his twin, and, separating him from his brother, took him under his wing, more forcefully than willingly, warping his already fragile mind into following him. At first, Kas resisted Naslenar's power, but his mind finally cracked when the Shadow-Mage blocked his empathic bond with Kyathane, severing his last tie to sanity. Calm, calculating and apathetic, Kas' outward appearance is a far cry from the nightmare he relives in his mind, his thoughts alternating between crystal clarity in his goals and ambitions to chaotic fragments of incoherency. He would much rather the later, as clarity also brings memories of his own atrocities, guilt and heartbreaking loneliness as his twin-bond with his brother, albeit temporarily, returns.
Distinctive markings:	Has Eraia's mark between his shoulder blades. Used to be the same symbol as Ky's (Lasuen's symbol) but it changed around the time of the twin's capture by the human Magia traders. -The mark is described as a circle containing the symbol of Taal (Time/Infinity or the God of Time, creator of the Dirthia and the Dirimeth) in the middle, vertically positioned within the centre of the circle, representative of Eraia. Has a few scars between his shoulders where his brother and himself used to hack at the original mark (the 'Mark Of Lasuen', Dirimeth of Light, described as a circle containing the symbol of Taal in the middle, horizontally positioned within the centre of the circle, representative of Lasuen), trying to remove it when they were much younger and it first manifested, increasing their magic abilities but rendering them too uncontrollable to use safely. After Kas lost his ability to use any other Magia except Eraia (shadow), his mark became the single 'Mark Of Eraia'. Kayethos stopped removing the mark, letting it increase his Magia to dangerous levels.
*Other Shapes:*	-The ‘Shadow Dirimeth or ‘Suncat Eraia’ is a secondary form Kayethos is able to morph into, though this ability did not come to him until after the capture by the Magia Traders. A Dirimeth is a large elemental cat, similar in appearance to a lion but roughly the size of a horse, seemingly made entirely of one of the six Eternal Elements; Fire, air, earth, water, light and shadow. The only accounts of these demi-gods existing are found in ancient parchments and paintings and through accounts of near death experiences and children's imaginations. The Shadow Element is said to be the most difficult to control, that Kayethos has mastered this Magia as well as gaining the ability to take Dirimeth shape of this element is both a mystery and something to greatly fear. -Unknown to him, he has the ability to take the shape of a white fox. -Kas is the only one who knows what happened in the Incident On The Cliff, when his twin first took the shape of the Light Dirimeth, as children.
*Weapons:*	-Kas carries a pair of rapiers, one called Ersenon (EHR-seh-non), meaning Shadow Bringer in Kesren, (the ancient language of the vampiric Sünrir), and the other called Syraan (shi-RAHN), meaning Soul Drinker in Kesren. Both blades were created by Miraela's older brother, Brevar (BREH-var), and magically strengthened by her father, the shadow-mage, Naslenar (JAZ-len-are) Linden. Kas prefers to use twined weapons. -Twin butterfly knives carried on his belt. -Magic known as Magia on Dirthia. Magia is based on the six "Eternal Elements": Earth (Keiaarn), Water (Sasree), Fire (Iridet), Air (Belsihm)Belsihm), Light (Lasuen) and Shadow (Eraia). Kas only ever uses Eraia. -All Kas’s weapons are twinned or augmented when used with his twin, e.g. his magic, his swords. His grandfather designed a pair of Magia enhanced broadswords millennia ago, for Thaen, who is adept with dual weapons, and he in turn customized them for Ky and his brother, Kas. When Kas defected, Ky was left as sole wielder of the blades and received the rest of Kas’ natural magic after he abandoned it to control, solely, Eraia (Shadow).
