I hate writing about myself, only a little less than I hate photos. The photo above exists because I could hide behind Toby. So what to say about me?

I'm Australian, sufficiently interested in politics to not vote Liberal, and I love happy ever after stories - hence my addiction to writing romances. I also write sci fi - yes, a weird choice for a history and sociology major, but there you go, life's strange. You can read one of my sci fi stories at DKA magazine and Pine Tree Mysteries has just published "Sword in the Store", a murder mystery.

There's not a lot of time for hobbies between training Toby (the golden retriever refusing to release his bone for a photo), reading everything I can lay my hands on (I think it's an addiction, or do I mean compulsion?) and, of course, writing. Puzzles, sketching, and avoiding exercise.
As I said, I write romances and two have made it into print.

"The Purple Tepee" is available at Romance at Heart Publishers (see sidebar). It's a contemporary Cinderella story for those of us who forget to schedule romance into our busy days.

"Wild Imaginings", at Literaryroad.com, is a cosy historical mystery with a touch of old fashioned romance. It's set in Fremantle, which has to be my favourite town.

"The Walk Alones" is a fantasy/romance and it will be available soon from Dragon Heart Romance.
