'Bay Cottage' - Sydney B&B homestay accommodation- overlooks Iron Cove and has close transport links to the city making it an ideal spot for your Sydney vacation. Iron Cove is a cove on the Parramatta river just before it flows into Sydney Harbour. It is so named because of the ironstone that was found in the area by the early settlers. Rodd Island (below), in the middle of Iron Cove, belongs to the National Estate and contains the original homestead of the Rodd family after whom the suburb is named.

The 'Bay Run' is a 7 kms long running/walking track around Iron Cove. You may wish to join rowers and runners already up and about in early morning training before enjoying a complimentary hot breakfast in our dining room. The local bus leaves from just a 2 minutes walk away, and there are also fast bus and ferry connections to the city.
