Whilst this is a page on which I will show some of my art, it does not contain as much as I would like. This is due to the fact that too many sketches would take too long to download, and slow websites are annoying. Over the years my art has grown gradually with me and has been an integral part of daily life throughout my life. The majority is horse based however due to copious encouragement and challenges I am starting to expand on the knowledge. Peter has been the largest contributor to the confidence I have in trying new techniques and I hope to one day be able to place on here some paintings using different mediums.
As for the rest of the site each of the photos is a thumbnail. To see the larger version please click the picture.
A sketch which has been completed some time ago in black ink. I made a point to not use many lines in the sketch allowing the markings of the cheeta to lead the eye along the contours of the animals. there are some lines as somethings just need to be outlined slightly.
A second sketch this time of a snowleopard. I followed the same principles in the cheeta sketch and hoped for the best. It worked well and I am quite pleased with this one as well.
A graphite pencil sketch that I did sometime ago which is from a photo taken of a young Freisian stallion who was being broken in at a friends equine training establishment. He was a lovely horse that just begged to be drawn... ok not literally.
