Scarce Tunes - Terms & Conditions of Purchasing

  • We only accept orders by email.
  • We accept payment via PayPal (includes credit card, debit card and various other forms of payment) or direct bank deposit for Australian customers. We only accept payment via PayPal for international customers.
  • The catalogue is only updated once a month so in the event that the CD(s) you wished to purchase is/are no longer available you will receive an email informing you that we are unable to process some or all of your order. If part of your order is available we will list the total cost for the available item(s). If the whole order is available a confirmation email will be sent to you indicating the CD(s) you have selected to purchase, the total payment required for your order, instructions on how to pay for it using the method of payment you selected and the address it will be mailed to.
  • Payment is to be made within 7 days of this confirmation. If payment doesn't occur within this period your order will be cancelled and the item(s) will be considered "available" to the next person who, has placed or places an order. If payment occurs more than 7 days after confirmation and someone else has already ordered the item you will be informed by email that the item has already been sold. In this case we may request your banking details so that your payment can be returned to you, however, it will be returned minus any administration fees. If payment occurs more than 7 days after confirmation and the item(s) is/are still available they will be sent to you as per the initial confirmation email.
  • If you pay by direct bank deposit please email scarcetunes@yahoo.com.au when payment has been made so that we can keep an eye out for the payment.
  • Goods paid via PayPal will be mailed within 7 days of receiving payment.
    Goods paid via direct bank deposit will be mailed within 14 days of receiving payment.
    The reason for the slow turnaround is that we only check for payments via bank deposit weekly and we only post once per week.
  • We will email buyers when their goods have been mailed.
  • We will not be held responsible for items that are lost or stolen once they have been posted. Each CD listed on this site is the one and only copy and can't be replaced. If you are concerned about this issue please request postal insurance in your order, the cost of postal insurance will be added to your confirmation email and the necessary action will be taken to register the item(s). Our experience with mail delivery is 100% at this point in time.
  • Item(s) are as described in the detailed information pages when they are mailed. We will not entertain a dispute of these descriptions, as any change in the description that is noted upon arrival of the product by the customer will have occurred in the mailing process.
