Erin's Dollmaking Tutorial
For Web Tv Users



This tutorial is for MSN Tv/Web Tv users. You must know the basics of using Image Magic to use this tutorial.If you do not know how to use Image Magic then click HERE for the Image Magic tutorial link to learn how to composite.


If you need help to CC&P HERE.

1. CC&P the URL below and paste it in your Find and click on find again to close it. That is the directory where the images are that you will be working with.

2. Write down these file names. That way you will only have to change the file name to composite each image while making the doll.

torsoL.gif
blueglitterdress.gif
blndhead.gif


3. CC&P this clear background to Image Magic below to build your doll on. Make sure to delete the http:// that is already in the URL box before entering the clear background URL In the Image Magic tool below.





4. When you are in Image Magic click on Composite button near the top of the page.

5. Then click on your Find button. CC&P the URL of the directory from the find and paste it back to be used later. Now delete the http:// in the url box. Paste the directory url into the url box and type in torsoL.gif after the last / in the directory URL.


6. Click on Center and when the pull down menu comes up click on North.
Leave the +0 on the left alone.
Change the +0 on the right to +70.
Click on composite.


This is what it should look like now.




7. Click on the composite button again. If the torsoL.gif URL is not there go to the find to get the directory again. If the torsoL.gif is there just delete that file name up to the first / and type in blueglitterdress.gif. Change the Center to North if it is on center.
Change the +0 on the left to +5.
Change the +0 on the right to 70.
Click on Composite.

This is what it should look like now.




8. Click on the composite button and change the file name to blndhead.gif.
Change the Center to North if it is not center.
Leave the +0 on the left alone.
Change the +0 on the right to +40.
Click on Composite.

This is what it should look like now.




9. Click on the Transform button near the top left of the page. Click on the circle next to trim if it is not red. If it is then just click on the Transform button.

10. Click the Output button at the top left of the page.
In the drop-down menu click on gif.
Click on single file
Click on Output.

11. Now click on the small image of the doll and transload it to your server or upoad it to your scrapbook.
This is what the finished doll should look like now.
