Eskimo Prince was a son o the first Slipper winner, Todman, and was a crowd favourite when he started in the 1964 Golden Slipper. He was owned by Perc Galea, a well-known mammoth punter. Following his win, Galea threw handfuls of 10 pound notes to the crowd in the paddock enclosure almost creating a riot. |
