Race Fuel Cell

With the old filler hole being covered over with the flare there was no way i was going to continue to fill it from a jerry can from the inside of the car. So I bought a 30L RCI fuel cell with foam inside and a 2" drop off the bottom of the tank. I will still need to lift the hatch to fill the tank but the only part visable will be the filler hole once finished.

While I was at it I also removed the rust from teh rear panel and got some new zintec welded in. Like the nice siny muffler :)


After some testing I found that even with a baffled tank I was getting surge. This was mainly due to my main pump being gravity fed so I put in a low pressure lifter pump, installed a surge pot and then run the vl turbo pump. Next outing I had no problems what so ever.
