WHITES CELEBRATE
8/10/2007

The Queanbeyan Whites celebrated their most successful season in 24-years at their presentation dinner last Saturday night.

The Whites won the first grade and colts premiership this season. In a hotly contested first grade side, the best and fairest award was given to inspirational captain Josh Hastings. Hastings terrorised opposition defences in broken play this season, highlighted by his two tries in the grand final against Gungahlin.

Hastings was also named the players’ player for his stellar season. Australian under 19 representative Dan Penca enjoyed a successful night. He was named the first grade best forward, and won the Memorial Shield for most promising player. More than 200 guests attended the presentation night.
