Gilberts friends Gay - In between - Lesbian - Bi - Transgender
Are you a School or College aged young person? Not Straight?
Confused? Or not sure ? We have started a group where you can
meet other school-aged young people in the same situation.
“GILBERT'S FRIENDS” is a safe space for young gay, lesbian
and bisexual people in the ACT region to meet, talk, socialize
and be supported. We are currently developing posters and
other materials to let other young people know about the
group. As well as being social the group creates other
networks through its email group and is working toward an
internet chat service, production of an E-zine etc. We keep it
confidential to maintain people's safety. The group meets
fortnightly on a Monday at 5pm in the meeting space at Sexual
Health & Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT).

QUEER FAMILIES
Queer families is a group for the Queer community who want to discuss
parenting issues in a supportive, informal setting. The main aim of the
group is to provide a discussion network for Queer people who parent, and
for Queer people who want to be parents. This group is a great way to keep
in touch with queer issues and to get to know other people with kids in our
community. We also aim to share contacts and information. We hope to
present guest speakers from time to time. All ages, genders, and sexualities
are welcome. A light supper will be provided on the night.

families ACT is a group for the Queer community who want to discuss parenting issues in a supportive, informal

Bit Bent
bit bent is a social support group for 12 to 25 year old guys
and girls who
are attracted to the same sex. It is also a place to gain
support if you
are unsure or questioning your sexual identity. bit bent aims
