The
Calendar of Events is provided as a service to
both our website visitors, and to the many worthy
parenting and community social/support groups out there.
If
you are hosting an upcoming event, or have heard of one,
and would like it added
to our Calendar follow these guidelines-
-
Email all relevant event and
contact details to pwpaus@yahoo.com.au

Events
can be located anywhere within Australia or New
Zealand, and must be open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and
trans* people who are parents, partners, or prospective
parents.
-
Community
groups and initiatives are welcome to send in
details if they feel their event would be relevant
to GLBT families.

Individuals
who wish to locate other families in their area by
hosting, say, a picnic in the park, are most welcome to
send us details of their event.
-
Don't
forget to mention if the event is open to
children/families, and whether creche facilities
are available, if applicable.

If
possible include a mobile contact number and mention
something that will identify your group (eg:
balloons). Picnics and park settings in
particular can make it difficult for newcomers to
locate your group.

Event
reminders will be sent to PWP
email group members 4 days before the event.
