AIMS AND OBJECTS.
(a) The purpose of the Association shall be to advance intellectual and cultural interests among people who have retired from their former activities.
(b) It will assist retired people to overcome potential emotional stress caused by retirement.
(c) It will provide regular meetings and activities for fellowship, development of acquaintance and social interaction.
(d) It should be seen as a worthwhile organisation by the local community.
(e) The Association shall be non- political and non- sectarian.
(f) The Association shall not be (or be seen to be) a fund- raising organisation.

MEMBERSHIP.
(a) Membership shall be for retired and semi-retired professional and business people and others with a like background,
who appreciate and value increased social contact and opportunities to meet others in similar circumstances.
(b) Membership of the Association shall be contingent upon attendance at regular meetings of not less than fifty percent in any Association year,
subject to leave of absence in cases of ill health or other reasonable grounds.

ACTIVITIES
The Club meets monthly on the second Monday of each month at 10.00 am to 12 noon to provide fellowship and hear a guest speaker.
Between meetings visits and outings are arranged to which spouses of members and guests are invited.

SUBSCRIPTION
The annual subscription is $ 25-00 per annum (pro rata) with a once only entry fee of $5.00.
Members are asked to pay $2.00 for morning tea provided at meetings.
