Will you join the noble Order of the Laurel? |

Mistress Mathilde Speaks for me. It all became rather emotional. |
There were tears. |
And there was laughter. |

Some trouble getting up, there is so much skirt I had knelt on it. |
Go forth and greet your peers. The crush of the Laurel hug. |
My first laurel duty see the laurelling of a friend immediately after my own ceremony. |
I didn't make a new dress for the occasion, shame on me I know, but this was a new dress that I hadn't worn to an event as yet. I was invited to the order only an hour before the ceremony. I was Laurelled for 16th century Venetian noble women's dress and accessories, with secondary in teaching and research.
For the fuller story of my offer and subsequent ceremony click here.
At the moment I seem to be the first third generation Laurel in the Kingdom of Lochac.
