The intention of this page is to provide a Hash "Mug Shot" and very short resume of each member of the club. Ideally each entry will contain a photo of the member when they first started Hashing, a recent photo and brief details of their Hash career. Please email me any info or scanned photo that you might like to have published. Otherwise I will get one from the archives that you might not want the world to see!
Please provide the following info:
| Hash Name: | Modess. I was named after chasing a nubile Harriette who stated that the only way I would get lucky with her was if I was a Tampon. As this name was already used - I ended up as Modess. Recently at the 2006 NH3 Red Dress run I was made immortal in the local newspaper where my good looks, slinky red number and two willing ladies resulted in my name being reported as "Mostess". |
| Started Hash | I started Hashing in the winter of 1981 in Adelaide SA with Munno Para H3.My first run was in the middle of winter in the mud, cold and rain. The On On was twenty mad Hashers crowded under a small piece of canvas trying not to get wet and miss out on a truely awful (but hot) curry. Since then I have Hashed as a member of Munno Para H3, Adelaide Harriettes, Ipswich H3, West Moreton H3, Richmond H3, Hawkesbury Harriettes, Hunter H3, Western Suburbs H3, Lakeside H3, Newcastle H3, Newcastle Full Moon H3, Dilli H3, Capital H3 and finally back to Newcastle H3 and Newcastle Full Moon H3. |
| Hashing in the beginning |
Young, keen and a virgin Hasher back in 1981 before 25 years of trail, shiggy and down downs turned me into the Hash machine I am today. |
| Photo of me more recently | Old, blind but still keen at InterHash 2006, Chiangmai Thailand. Yes I caught them but I was distracted by the call of a beer and they both escaped. |
