Clark Trophy 2007
Scouts at the Clark Trophy

Mt Stuart Scouts do many exciting things, including Camping, Hiking, visits to interesting places and other social events on a regular basis. The scout troop's weekly meetings usually also include many action-filled activities.

Each year our scouts attend the Scout Guide Regatta, held at various Locations around Tasmania. The Regatta is held over the long weekend in March, and is attended by Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Guides from across the state. There are a number of land and water based activities, some of which are 'serious' events, but most are simply fun.

The troop usually competes in the Wellington District Competition Camp, an event at which patrols of scouts compete during a number of scouting and camping activities. Mt Stuart Scouts last won the competition in 2007. The best patrols in the district are selected to attend the Clark Trophy, to decide the best patrol in the state. In recent times our scouts have also attended Australian Jamborees, which are held at various locations around Australia. Many of our scouts have achieved the highest award in the scout section - the Australian Scout Medallion. To find out about the scout section Award Scheme click here (Scouts Victoria).

Mt Stuart Scouts meet on Monday nights 7pm till 9pm during the school year. For more information about Scouts, come along to one of our Monday night meetings or contact us.
