| August 17 | Committee moves that "Scarves be Red & White". |
| September 21 | Work on a "Cub Cupboard" begins under the Mt Stuart Hall. |
| 1960 | July 18 | First Annual General Meeting of the Mount Stuart Scout Group Committee. |
| 1961 | June 8 | First Scout Meeting under the guidance of Mr Thorne,
an Open Night with Cubs being invested into Scouts. |
| November | A Scout Flag is purchased for £6/9/4 (about $140 today). |
| 1962 | February | Mr T. Lockhart accepts the position of the Mt Stuart's first Group Scout Master (Group Leader). |
| 1963 | August | One of our Scouts becomes the groups first Senior Scout (attached to the Scout Troop). |
| 1964 | October 2 | A Combined Cub/Scout Birthday Party is held (5 Years). |
| 1965 | February 6 | The 'Youth Annex' was opened at the Mt Stuart Hall. 'Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies were guards of honour'. |
| March | Senior Scouts start officially and a 'Senior Court of Honour' is held. |
| June | Mrs Cutcliffe resigns, after leading the Cub Pack for its first six years. |
| 1966 | February | Group Committee approves payment of $250 for the construction of a Scout Storage Room. |
| 1967 | | Andrew Wadsley becomes Mt Stuart's first Queens Scout. |

| 1967 | April | The Scout Storage Room (Den) is completed. |
| May | Senior Scout Troop formed again, although without a leader. |
| 1968 | May 31 | First Rover Crew Meeting is held, known as the Stuart Rovers. |
| August | The Stuart Rovers produce a News Sheet for the group, named Kardinia. Initially bi-monthly, later monthly. |
| October | Scouts attend our first Clark Trophy at Poatina, a camping competition. |
| 1969 | | A new tartan design for scarves is considered. |
| June | Senior Scouts attend the Meredith Trophy, and are placed 4th overall. |
| December | D. Potter is presented with the "B.P." award (Rovers) |

| 1971 | April | A District Rover crew forms, and it is presumed that the Stuart Rovers transferred to this crew. |
| 1972 | | Mt Stuart Group reaches its current record size, with 74 uniformed members. |
| June | Last reference made to Kardinia. |
| 1973 | | Senior Scouts become known as Venturers. |
| 1974 | April | Robert Edwards, one of the first Mt Stuart Cubs, resigns after 15 years connection with the group, including 5 years as Scout Master. |
| 1975 | May | Mt Stuart Venturers leave to join the 'Wilson' Venturer Unit, a new District Unit. |
| 1976 | October 1 | A Scout/Guide social is held at the Mt Stuart Hall with approximately 250 young people attending. |
| 1978 | February | Wellington District is restructured and Mt Stuart becomes part of the new Hobart District. |
| 1983 | February | A Group Newsletter is introduced, later to be known as 'Signals'. |
| 1984 | | The Group celebrates its Silver Jubilee (25 Years) |
| 1985 | April 14 | Venturer Unit started under the guidance of Mr M. Grant. |
| September | Venturer Unit folds due to a lack of leaders. |
| October | Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Grant of $2,500 is received to assist with costs of a new equipment store. |
| 1987 | March | Venturer Unit re-starts under G. Maddock. |
| April | Work to convert a space under the hall into a Quartermasters store is completed. |
| June | The first girls join the group as Venturers. |
| 1988 | September | Cubs split into two packs, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the result of a large waiting list. |
| October 22 | Mt Stuart places 3rd at the Clark Trophy, our best ever result, with 565 points of a possible 780. |
| 1990 | July | The first girl joins Scouts. |
| October 24 | Wednesday Cub Pack folds, only the Thursday Cub Pack continuing. |
| 1991 | October | Venturer Unit folds again. |
| 1992 | June 20 - July 16 | Mt Stuart host visiting boys who were victims of the Chernobyl Disaster. |
| 1993 | | The first girls join Cubs. |
| 1999 | December | Teddy Bears sail to Antarctica as a fundraising venture. |
| 2004 | | Mt Stuart becomes part of the new Wellington District when Hobart and Glenorchy Districts merge. |
| 2006 | February | Joeys start under the instruction of J. Pyefinch. |
| 2007 | | Mt Stuart participates in Centenary of Scouting events. |
