Shut The Door Text

This tutorial assumes that you have a good working knowledge of PI
Written in PI 11, it is a rather involved tut but don't give up as it is worth the effort.
OK, lets get started!!
Supplies needed:
Download the Factory Gallery F which I have converted to a 8DF plug-in:
downloaded HERE
For outside Plug-ins in PI you will need the plugin.dll and the Msvcrt10.dll
Download HERE
Put them in your Windows/System 32 folder if you have Windows XP
Install your Filters Factory F in your Plug-in folder, open your PI, open a new white image
Type your text in whatever colour that you would like.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOTE: It is important that you are satisfied with your text before we do the animation with Filters Factory F
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK now we have to split the text, as characters!

Your text will be highlighted when you do your first split, so right click and duplicate (Shift+D) 4 times so that we have a total of 5 names. These should all be in one image in a stack!
This is what your image should look like

Now the fun begins :-))
Go to: Effects/Filter Factory F/Border Film

Move your slider to 11 and the Background Red slider to 255 to get the white stripes or you can leave on 0 for black stripes

For the first set of your name choose settings above click OK. Apply these settings on all letters in the first name set. Select all the letters in the first name set and Right click and Merge as a Single Object.
On your 2nd name set move Internal X slider to 71 on all the letters in your 2nd name set. Select all the letters in the 2nd name set and Right click and Merge as a Single Object.
In the 3rd name set follow above instructions but move the Internal X slider to about 103, apply this setting to all letters in the 3rd name set
On the 4th name set follow above instructions for the 2nd name set but move the Internal X slider to position 130-133 there about to close or nearly close the door.
This is what you image should look like after you have applied the above instructions.

Highlight a name layer and right click/Select all Objects and close the eye to hide all layers.
NOTE: If you have made a background that you would like to display behind your name, then highlight your base background layer and unclick the eye so that it is visible when you save as a UFO.
OK that is the PI part finished so go to File/Save As and save it as a UFO file.
