| Annual folder notes have been issued since 1999. Only 1000 of these were released, with AA prefix and serial nos ranging from 000001 to 001000. Between 1999 to 2003 all folder notes were signed by Dr Donald Thomas Brash, despite he left office in late 2002. The 2004 sets are signed by Dr Alan E Bollard and this is the first time that his signature appeared on all denominations since he became Governor on 23/09/2002. | ![]() |

Queen Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor) was born on 21/04/1926 at 17 Bruton Street, in Mayfair, London. She was the eldest daughter of Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI) and The Duchess of York (née Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, later Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother). Elizabeth II has reigned since 06/02/1952 following the death of her father King George VI of lung cancer. Apart from the United Kingdom and New Zealand, Elizabeth II is also Queen of 14 other Commonwealth nations around the world, including Australia, Canada, and Papua New Guinea. |
