Disclaimer
This website is designed to give a sufferer's impression of Tourette syndrome in a bid to increase understanding of the condition in the wider community. It is NOT designed as a replacement for consulting a registered medical practitioner.
Much of the information on this page, especially in the
Editor's Theories section, is unpublished conjecture. That is, no studies
have actually been performed to prove or disprove the theories. The ideas
are grounded in published scientific fact, and references are cited when
possible. It should be kept in mind, however, that this information is an
attempt to explain what we, as Touretters, go through.
This site should not be used to make a diagnosis, as I am not a qualified
medical practitioner.
All submissions to this site via email are secure. Your email address will not be given out to any companies or spammers, and the contents will only be viewed by myself. Any quotes lifted from your emails will be acknowledged and you shall be referred to by initials only. This format shall be consistently used from the 26 December 2004 onward.
