About Me
I acquired my first Collie in 1982 from the RSPCA in Sydney NSW, 'Lassie" was a beautiful mahogany sable and the most devoted companion I have ever had , and I was now hooked on the breed. When 'Lass' was diagnosed with Cancer I made the decision to buy another Collie to show. My next Collie was "Laird" a tri colour male who was better in the Obedience Ring than the Show ring.
In 1988 I moved to Brisbane, Queensland with my job in the airlines . I was then lucky enough to purchase a beautiful 2 1/2yr old sable bitch, Australian Champion Cathkin Sable Intrigue "Missy" from another breeder in Brisbane.
"Missy" became the foundation of " HIGHCLERE COLLIES" , which is now a very consistent winning Collie Kennel in Queensland.
