 Orchid Spectacular with Art and Craft Exhibition - 18th Annual 2008

The Orchid Spectacular, together with the Art and Craft Exhibition, will again be held at the Gosford Racecourse on 3 days Fri. 3rd   , Sat. 4^th, and Sun. 5^th August 2007 -   9am - 4pm daily.

This year the theme is “ On Track With ORCHIDS ” There will also be a Shell Display and a Lapidary and Jewellery Display. We have decided to include an art and craft section depicting scenes from the Central Coast. Please inform your friends and clubs of this event so that they can begin planning their work for the show.

We would like two-thirds (2/3) of the number of works to incorporate an orchid of any type and any craft is suitable e.g. paintings, photography, pottery, painted ceramics, needlework, patchwork, folk art, paper tolle, card making, jewellery, woodwork, carving, silk painting, glass painting, floral art, etc.
A further one-third (1/3) of the works may depict scenes of the Central Coast. The Orchid Society may decide on the suitability of works.

Please include the artist’s name, address, phone no., type of art and title, price (if for sale) or NFS (not for sale). Items entered last year are not eligible for this year’s exhibition. Up to 4 paintings, or framed photos etc., of average size may be entered, but the number of craft items will vary depending on their size and space available. Entries will need to be delivered to the Gosford Racecourse Function Room on Thursday 3^rd August between 10a.m. and 3p.m. Collection will be on Sunday 6^th August between 3p.m. and 4.30p.m. Please contact me if you have any problems with these times.
Commission on any sales will be only 20%.
