These are my Thoughts & Feelings on what happened on 9/11/2001!

I was shocked that anything like that could happen to the United States of America!!
I felt like someone had stabbed me in the heart. I cried and cried as people died and I could not do anything about it. That was the day AMERICA'S heart broke, and so did mine.
I prayed for the families of those who died and for those who were searching for their loved ones.
I rejoiced when 1 more person was found alive.
I prayed for the people still buried under the rubble that God would keep them alive.
I morned every time another person was found not alive.
It is still hard for me to look at pictures and read about peoples thoughts and experiences on what happened that tragic day on 9/11/01. I end up crying before I can finish reading the poem or tribute.
I Will NEVER FORGET!
I wasn't there nor did I know anyone personally who died. It still felt like it was a personal blow to ME because those people were AMERICANS!
They were my brothers and sisters, in my heart, even though I never met them.
A part of me died that day with all those people. A New part of me was born. I became UNITED with the UNITED STATES in morning those who died, and raising my fist at those who cause this tragedy to happen.
I cried and grieved for them and their families. I wanted to strike out at the ones who did this to my people! For they ARE my people. No mater their nationality, They were AMERICANS and that makes us One and the Same!
We are One Race, One People, One Blood, One Gender, One Heart, One Life,One Country, One Nation Under God!
God Bless all the Men and Women in the United States Armed Forces for serving their country!
God Bless all the Men and Women who gave of themselves to help save lives, and those who sacrificed their lives to save those found in the rubble at Ground Zero.
Thank you to all the Search and Rescue Dogs and rescuers for all you did to help find and save people trapped under the Tower Rubble.
