To join the club, come along to a walk, preferably one that is of a less ability requirement than you can possibly do. Eg. A walk with a fitness level of 1 to 3. Please contact the trip leader prior to the walk of your preference, as directed in the newsletter.
Upon attendance at your first walk, you will be required to fill in an attendance form which acknowledges the waiver form and confirms that you are a temporary member.
Temporary membership exists until the following conditions are met:
(1) after completion of three walks, and a membership application is submitted
(2) six months after the first walk, with no other walks or membership application submitted.
Members from other Queensland clubs that are affiliated with Bushwalking Queensland or from interstate clubs affiliated with Bushwalking Australia are covered under reciprocal membership.
