Just arrived in New Zealand from California, Suavecita de RT (Pabellon Joven x Dominic by Sol de Mojave), a beautiful bay purebred Peruvian Paso mare, is now making her home with Heather Batkin at Smooth Running Peruvian Paso Stud. Suavecita joins Heather's purebred Peruvian Pasos FF Regalo de Oro, FF Ayacuchana, and Alondra, standardbred mare Kristy, and partbred Paso Estrella Lisa.

First purebred Peruvian Paso foal in New Zealand! A bay filly arrived in late November, bred by Heather Batkin out of her purebred Pervian Paso mare FF Ayacuchana by Sharon DuNasemant's Peruvian Paso stallion Tesaro Halado.Nine purebred Icelandic foals, 5 fillies and 4 colts, arrived at Vindholar Southern Icelandics.

The National Spanish Horse Association is holding their annual championship show at Woodhill Sands, near Auckland, on 26th March 2006. The show will include classes for Peruvian Pasos and Paso Finos.
