Division Report
This week we have the return match against The Pool Room. The
first time we met this team, we were down 16 – 2 and fought
back to draw with a score of 24 – 24.
We knew we had the firepower and the experience to take
our play to the next level.
The night did not start as well as we
had planned with the Roomers taking an early advantage, their
ability to put balls away when required, and snooker us when
the opportunity arose. ¼
time, we were down 9 – 3.

The second quarter did not get any better with
a similar pattern emerging. We
had come up against a side out for redemption due to the way they
failed to play out the games last time, and it showed.
The 3rd quarter was a little bit more solid, but we failed
to fully capitalise on the opportunities presented to us.
The last quarter was not any better and at the end of the night we had
gone down, 32 – 16. The
only shining light on the night was Mark Parrot, who managed to take 3
of the 4 frames on offer to him.

Bring on the RSL!
That’s what we were all saying this week, because we
knew we were a great chance of taking out this team.
1/3rd of the way through the season and the
side is starting to show real promise.
Starting off with the doubles combinations, we took 3 out of a
possible 6 frames which is a damn fine effort.
Well done to
Lauren Black
and Melanie Butcher for grabbing 2.
(Golf Clap).
This week some of our singles players took a step up to
provide stability through the entire team, lead off by Michael
Hoskins winning 2 of his 3 frames.
If we all could follow his example, then we would have
a successful night.
We gained the early ascendancy because of this and were
further boosted when
Mark Fraser
won all of his frames.
But as all sides in finals contention do, the RSL started to
come back with a vengeance.
Despite both Chantel Parker and
Justin Rosmalen
taking 2 frames each, we finished, going down 19 – 17.
Another desperately close margin against us yet again.
