WEEK 20:   29/07/2003

Fastbreak saw the return of one of its nearest and dearest, Craig Chenco who had missed the last couple of weeks due to his gallivanting around the USA.  However not to be outdone, one of the Breakers Darlings of the Doubles, Carly Clark took off to merry old England for a holiday come working trip, come drinking binge...ummmmm, anyways...

None of these comings or goings seemed to have helped our beloved team this week in their eternal struggle for fame and or glory.

Pitted against the ladder leaders Blackburn Magic, a somewhat lustre lacking Fastbreak went down 26 / 13.  One could put it down to the sub-artic temperatures of the Breakers home ground, but I suppose they should be used to snapping the icicles off their cues before each shot.

But not all was doom and gloom.  Some players got 2 frames - like Craig Chenco, Jason Lowe, Joe Saldineri (maybe), Steve Jeffries...and someone else...but I really can't report on the rest because I haven't been getting the game scores sent to me for a long time - thus no Sharky's Reports for a long time!!!!!! [from the webmaster -so stop hassling me as to why there is no Sharky updates!]

But not to worry - I have tasked the Webmaster to put pen to paper ON THE NIGHT from now on - then he will pass it on to me when I am unable to witness the spectacle myself :)

By the way, well done to Benny & Tammy for getting the only doubles frame for the night!

Next week Croydon Hotel at the Croydon Hotel.

GO FASTBREAK!
