Daza Pearce's Monthly Writers Challenge Thingy!

Welcome, my name's not Daza, it's Fox, but I run the website for what we're doing, and it's rather simple: given three random elements, several writers try to come up with a story relating to those three elements in any way, shape or form, and have approximately a month in which to do so.

At the moment, we've got ... Story 1, up (I figure that's the best way to put it) with results about to start pouring in. What's the three elements? A body of water (beach, pool, washing machine dregs, bath, shower, river, ocean, whatever you desire) and carnival (clowns and such, the eastershow, that red-neck county festival you just had to go to) and a spinning top (you know, like the ones from your childhood. Or a giant imaginary one in a character's dream, like the episode of Family Guy with the giant dreidle that Peter uses... is that spelt right? Or even the same thing?)

Seeing it was issued today, we'll clip things a little and say it's close enough to July 1st to be July's challenge. How're we going to decide who picks the next 3 items? Ask Daza.

How do I submit a story I wrote?
Simply save the written article in any format (.rtf, .txt, .doc) and forward it to ostimeg@peter.net.au. I'll make the work into something resembling html and upload it.

What if I want to upload the work myself?
In that case, simply save it in whatever format you want, and save the file using this format:

The month, the year, your name.

So if I finished one for this months, it'd read quite simply:

"july06fox.rtf"

And please, NO capitals. After that it's a simple case of logging into here and uploading the piece, which should seem straight forward enough, and please don't try deleting anything. If you want the password, just email me at the above address.
