you can get there by bus!

the route 978 bus passes the Research Centre: some departures originate from Miranda Fair (Westfield Shopping Town) but most services depart from near Caringbah Railway Station (bus stops in Hay Avenue, near the Post Office). Route 978 is operated by the Caringbah Bus Company (telephone 9524 6636). timetables are obtainable by calling the company, from the internet or ask the bus driver for one. The return journey mostly terminates at Caringbah Station but some services go through to Miranda Fair

volunteer members staff the Research Centre — please remember that they are giving up their own time to assist you!

when researching at the Centre, please wear your current membership card to identify yourself as a member

please leave your bags or other large items in one of the 12 lockers provided or leave the large items in your car

please only use pencils at the Centre (tip: small propelling pencils that use 0•5 mm leads are available cheaply at any newsagent or in your favourite office equipment shop. Buy 'B' leads — black erases easily). Buy an eraser at the same time

bring your lunch (a microwave oven is available to heat/cook food); tea or coffee is available, charge of $1 is made for second & subsequent cups of beverage. There are no shops or food outlets close to the Research Centre

please do not consume food or drinks within the research room (eat out on the verandah, it has a nice view)

please fill in your name on the Attendance Sheet so we can keep track of how many persons use the Research Centre
