One of the main objectives of BBFHS is to assist members with their family history research. With the Research Centre now functioning, it is the aim of the Education Officers to provide classes and workshops, which cover a variety of topics, for the education of members. You are free to choose the topics of interest to you. You decide whether you would like to attend one class or more. There will be different subjects covered during the year, so keep a look out for the outlines: in The Endeavour, at monthly meetings, at the Research Centre and on this website.

You can register for a class at a meeting, at the Research Centre (in person or by phone 9523 8948) or by email to Jean Campbell on or by phoning her on 9587 3783 and leaving a message.

A class of 2 hours (including printed material) costs $10 for members and a concession of $15 for couples. For non-members, classes cost $15 per person and $20 per couple.

Important: you must register for a class, not just 'turn-up' on the day! Class sizes are limited and resources are only provided for the numbers of persons registered.
