13/Jan/07 - We welcome home our Scout Troop from AJ2007. See news from the Jamboree  [more..]     

2/Feb/07 - Troop enjoys memories of AJ2007 with photo albums on display, a slide show and interviews with the Jamboree Scouts.

16/Feb/07 - Troop has a 'boys only' night with all the female Leaders away and built a giant catapult that hurled tennis balls across the park.

2/Mar/07 - Troop enjoyed a night hike from the hall to Jannali Reserve and played wide games beside the river.

9/Mar/07 - Troop invested two new Scouts and celebrated by cooking pancakes for supper.

23-25/Feb/07 - The Group splashed out at a beach-side camp and party at Bonnie Vale to celebrate Founders Day and the 150th birthday anniversary of the founder of Scouting.  [more..]

16/Mar/07 - Troop did a digital camera scavenger hunt that produced some interesting photographs.

22/Mar/07 - Celebrating another special Grey Wolf award presentation.

22/Mar/07 - Positive publicity four our Group when the Leader newspaper Thurs 22 March edition published in the 'Out & About' section on page 51 a photograph of Bangor Cubs and Scouts rafting during the Group's Founders Day camp at Bonnie Vale.  [more..]

25/Mar/07 - Despite being rained on several times, the Troop enjoyed a 7km hike to Marley Beach via Deer Pool in the Royal National Park. Had lunch in caves watching the spectacular 4m swells crashing against cliffs and then climbed the massive sand dunes behind the beach.

29/Mar/07 - Four new Cub Scouts invested into the Pack.

25/Apr/07 - Joeys and Cubs participate in ANZAC Day march at Sutherland and breakfast afterwards at the Sutherland United Services Club.

4/May/07 - Four investitures into the Scout Troop, including a new Leader Chris.

12/May/07 - JOTT. A group of 45 people including Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and families enjoyed a Jamboree On The Trail hike through the Still Creek valley.  [more..]

19/May/07 - Two Grey Wolf awards presented to our Cub Scouts at the Region Cub Camp fire.

7/Jun/07 - Scouts help the Cubs build and race chariots.

21/July/07 - Cubs, Scouts, Parents and Leaders pitch in to help raise money for our Group. Thanks to Bunnings for the fundraiser BBQ.

28-29/July/07 - A Group family camp at Cataract Scout Park sees Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Parents and Leaders enjoy a Christmas in July feast to celebrate the Centenary of Scouting and lots of adventurous activities.  [more..]

1/Aug/07 - Cubs and Scouts attend a historic Scouting Sunrise event at the Sydney Opera House, followed by a BIG day out exploring Manly and North Fort at North Head.  [more..]

12/Aug/07 - Another very successful Bunnings BBQ. Thanks to all those who gave their time to help raise money for our Group. Thanks to Bunnings for the fundraiser.

12/Aug/07 - Scouts from the Bangor and Menai Troops combined for a bike hike along Lady Carrington Drive in the Royal National Park. Twenty Scouts met at the Bangor Scout hall on a glorious sunny Sunday morning and loaded bikes into trailers and utes and travelled via Waterfall to the southern end of Lady Carrington Drive. The Scouts peddled north while the support vehicles drove around to Audley where a BBQ lunch was prepared for the Scouts.

17/Aug/07 - A family outing to the Star Dust Circus attracted about forty people from our Group. The 'full house' audience enjoyed great family entertainment.

24/Aug/07 - A 'Grey Wolf' award and a 'Green Cord' award were presented during a combined Cub Pack and Scout Troop meeting.

30/Aug/07 - The Cub Pack enjoys a 'Fathers Day' craft activity at Bunnings.

31/Aug/07 - The Joey Mob celebrates 'Fathers Day' with campfire cooking. The Scout Leaders prepared a campfire for the Joeys to cook damper twists and sausages.

7-9/Sep/07 - The Scout Troop takes advantage of the APEC long weekend for a major camp at Coolendel on the Shoalhaven River.   [more..]

13/Sep/07 - Cub Pack goes ten pin bowling at Sylvannia AMF Bowling Centre.

16/Sep/07 - Another very successful Bunnings BBQ fundraiser.

7-11/Oct/07 - Cubs attend NSW State Cuboree at Homebush.

8/Nov/07 - Cubs enjoy a swimming night at Sutherland Pool.

10-11/Nov/07 - Scouts attend Region Camp at Cataract.

22/Nov/07 - Cubs go on a night bush walk.

23/Nov/07 - Celebrating the first Scout Medallion presented in our Group.

6/Dec/07 - Cubs sing Christmas carols at Warina Gardens nursing home.

8/Dec/07 - Kangaroos entertain with skits and carols at the Group Christmas Party.

13/Dec/07 - Cubs enjoy a wet-&-wild party to celebrate the end of the year.

14/Dec/07 - Scouts enjoy an end-of-year party. The fun began with a water game that quickly turned into a water fight; followed by everyone's favourite - party food.
