Group Family Camp

Celebrating 100 Years of Scouting
with a Group camp at Cataract Scout Park and Christmas in July feast.

28-29 July 2007

Most people arrived late Saturday after the usual sport commitments and while a few setup tents, most opted for the very comfortable bunk rooms. Saturday night dinner was a delicious Christmas feast with chicken, extra tasty fire-baked potatoes, veg and lashings of gravy.

Christmas pudding for desert caused many to come back for seconds.

Sunday morning was a chilly zero degrees, so it was nice to get the camp fire going.

The rest of Sunday morning was busy with fun and challenging activities.

Thanks to all the families that joined in to make this camp a great celebration for our Group and for 100 years of World Scouting.

Thanks to Angus for organising the camp and thanks to Bilby for the catering.
