GROUP 20 Specifications


Race Duration

Qualifying ________2 minute bye round with 30 second penalty
Consie___________ 2 minute brackets/1minute lane change
Heats____________ 2 minute brackets/1 minute lane change
Semi Final ________2 minute brackets/l minute lane change
Final ____________ 3 minute brackets/2 minute lane change


BODY

- Any winged body. (See general specifications - bodies)
- Interior MUST be used*


Chassis

- Any


Rear Axle

- Any
- Oilite type bushings only*

Gears

-Any


Motor

- Any Mura.
- Champion (Force or Xterminator).
- RJR.
- Proslot.
- Camen.
- Koford.
- Kelly.
* (All Must be full size "C" can type setup (no strap cans)

- Can may not be modified except for the following: - Notching for axle clearance.
- Removal of plating and/or paint to facilitate soldering.
- Oilite hole may be centered.
- A small hole (max 2mm) may be drilled in each side of the can to aid in gluing magnets.
- Oilite type bushings only. May be soldered and/or glued in place.

- Any endbell and hardware may be used.
- Endbell hardware screws and endbell to can mounting- screws may be added and/or substituted.

Magnets:
- Any full can height, ceramic magnets may be used.
- Magnets may be shimmed, glued, radiused and polished.

- Any brushes and springs may be used.
- Shunt wire and spring insulation may be used.
- Minimum armature diameter 0.512"
- Armature spacers may be used.
- Tagged Gp 20 armature with a minimum stack length of 0.440" and a minimum 38 series wound turns of 27 awg gauge wire may be used.



These rule's do not belong to any association or group and they are just a copy of the slot car rules being used at the 2004 National's and not the official rules.
