We welcome Lilly S and Taylor O to the team which gives us 8 players in total. Montana and Scarlet from U13 will be available to help out in the future as well.
Maddi L was absent.
This is the last of the games that will be used to rotate players through different positions. Minor changes will occur just to provide a better player match up on a game by game basis.
The team was very competitive in the first half keeping track of the opposition quite well. In fact, the first quarter was excellent 4-7, and the half time score 5-11 showed that the second quarter was a very strong defence.
The second half had players mostly in non-preferred positions and the result was 1-15. Clearly not an arrangement that needs to be tried again.
The game had its moments but some opportunities under the ring were lost because of the lack of strength in the passes to get the ball over the defence. Something that will be worked on in training.
